The Boscastle Fishing Company are on the harbour and sell the catch of the day, fresh from the sea.
Supermarkets within a short drive of Boscastle include Tesco, Somerfield, Co-op, and Morrisons.
Waitrose and Tesco make deliveries to Ivy Cottage.
Run by Robin, Jackie and their team, Boscastle Farm Shop and Cafe is in a stunning location.
Surrounded by National Trust Farmland and less than 50 yards from the coastal path, the Farm Shop sells home made pies, pasties and other delights. The on site cafe is the number 1 place to eat in Boscastle.
The farm shop is a 5 minute drive from Ivy Cottage. Alternatively, you can walk along the South West Coast path to earn your lunch.
There are fantastic shops in Boscastle. You can buy local art from Boscastle's famous Pottery, The Picture Parlour or the Old Forge Gallery. Clothing and gifts are available from Things, the National Trust shop and Harbour Light Clothing. Specialist walking clothes and footwear are sold by the Cornish Rambler, and there are many more besides.
There are three pubs in Boscastle, all within walking distance of Ivy Cottage. the Cobweb keeps good beer, a great Cornish vibe and serves good pub food. The Napoleon at the top of the village is a steep 10 minute walk to excellent food and drink (and music on Tuesdays and Fridays) but it is downhill all the way home.
The Wellington Hotel is less than 5 minute walk and serves excellent food in its restaurant and bar.
In addition there are a number of fantastic cafes and restaurants.
Boscastle is close to lots of other great places for eating. We recommend the Port William pub at Trebarwith Strand.
You can also easily get to Padstow, Port Isaac and many other places.
